She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. -Proverbs 31:27-28
I have been married to my best friend for over 14 yrs to One of the Few and the Proud a United States Marine. I have been given the privilege to train up 7 amazing children ages 20, 18, 11, 11, 8, and 6 to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I also have an amazing God Son named Gabriel who spends a great deal of time with us everyday. Finally, Multiple Sclerosis, I used to HATE these words the Lord has tested my will, he has tested my faith, and I no longer hate MS. I embrace the gift the Lord has given me to live each day with appreciation of sight, sound, breath, and mobility. I cherish the days that I can run and jump and play freely with my children. I take NOTHING for granted. I also cherish the days when I must be still and listen, and watch, and snuggle on the couch and talk because my body is doing exactly what the Lord needs me to be doing.
It is this trust and understanding that greets each day. The Lord walks beside me…sometimes holding me up…sometimes pushing me forward.
